STEM PROGRAM
St. Rose Grammar School is committed to developing a love of learning in the STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. This is why we have partnered with the New Jersey Institute of Technology NJIT.
The university has an interest in making community connections and their expertise assist us in providing a “Makerspace” facility that is developmentally appropriate for grammar school students. Our present art room has become a place for experiential science and art that help students develop an engineering environment from which they can thrive. Thanks to the St. Rose Grammar School PTA, they have created the effort to make it all possible in addition to providing all of the wonderful things they do to enhance the quality of life for our children all year long. A NJIT consultant regularly trains faculty and monitors our school to provide guidance in making St. Rose a place for students to experience many hands on opportunities.
