NURSE'S OFFICE
A nurse is present every day during school hours. Her services include administering medicine and caring for children who become ill, as well as attending to all state mandates regarding health regulations. The school nurse is responsible for vision, hearing and blood pressure screenings yearly. In addition, scoliosis screening is done on all students from ten years of age as required by state law. A physical exam is required for all new students and is administered by the family physician.
