As always, let me say to our families, Thank you for the gift of your children. What a pleasure they are!
My privilege and blessing is to be the principal of St. Rose Grammar School. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph, we are inspired by their faith, traditions, and practices. Here, at St. Rose, the children and faculty and staff are like family. We care about and for each other. We present a “value-based” education with the objective to cultivate the growth of each student as a whole person. Every two months we focus on a particular virtue such as honesty, friendship, love, perseverance. During that two month period the teachers and students discuss the virtue and strive to perfect it within themselves.
We have a plethora of activities for children here. For the parents, we have a terrific active and supportive PTA that helps the school financially AND plans fun grown-up activities like wine and cheese parties and Family Fun Days!
Because we are a religious school, we can wrap everything around God. How wonderful that is!! We celebrate First Friday Liturgy together each month, participate in Prayer services for the holidays, and have reconciliation services twice a year. By providing a safe and loving environment for students, we are able to further the moral and spiritual values learned at home.
